    We asked these sport stacking champions to answer a few questions about themselves and their sport. Here's how they responded.

How long have you been sport stacking?
 
 
 
About 1 1/2 years now.

How did you get started in this sport?
 
 
 
Actually, I saw sport stacking for the first time at a juggling event and was hooked!

Since you've been sport stacking, has it helped you in any way, and if so, how?
 
 
 
Yes, I've noticed my concentration has greatly improved. I'm right-handed and since I've been sport stacking, my left hand has gotten better. Also, I've been able to make new friends with sport stacking!

Tell us about your experience at the 2006 Japan Sport Stacking Championships?
 
 
 
I was surprised at the large size of the tournament and that so many stackers were there! I really had a great time!
 
 
 
 
 
5.
 
What are your thoughts about attending the World Sport Stacking Championships?
 
 
 
I really want to improve my personal best times and see other great stackers and learn from them.
 
 
 
 
 
6.
 
What is your target stacking time at the World Championships?
 
 
 
I'd like to do the Cycle in under 9 seconds.
 
 
 
 
 
7.
 
Besides sport stacking, do you play any other sports?
 
 
 
I do gymnastics and also juggle in a school club. And sometimes I play badminton.
 
 
 
 
 
8.
 
What are your hobbies?
 
 
 
Juggling and other school clubs.

And your favorite food?
 
 
 
Meat! Any kind! I love it!

How long have you been Sport Stacking?
 
 
 
About two years.

How did you get started sport stacking?
 
 
 
I saw a Speed Stacks training DVD on sport stacking and was amazed! I wanted to give it a try myself.

Since you've been sport stacking, how has it helped you?
 
 
 
I think I've really improved my concentration and I've also developed a more competitive spirit!

Tell us about your experience at the 2006 Japan Sport Stacking Championships?
 
 
 
Actually, I've been to the World Championships before, so I didn't feel so nervous before the tournament. But then, during the competition, everyone was watching and it put a little bit of pressure on me.
 
 
 
 
 
5.
 
Right now, before the World Sport Stacking Championships, how are you feeling?
 
 
 
I really want to improve my personal best times and see other great stackers and learn form them.
 
 
 
 
 
6.
 
What is your target stacking time at the World Championships?
 
 
 
I just want to improve and hopefully break my own personal best times.
 
 
 
 
 
7.
 
Besides sport stacking, do you play any other sports?
 
 
 
I love to swim! I take part in competitive swimming and my specialty is the back-stroke.
 
 
 
 
 
8.
 
What are your hobbies?
 
 
 
I like listening to music. My favorite group is EXILE!

And your favorite food?
 
     
Cheese and chocolate!

When did you start sport stacking?
 
 
 
November 2005

Since you've been sport stacking, has it helped you in any way?
 
 
 
Since I started Sport Stacking I noticed my stick control in
Hockey has improved.

What were your feelings before and after the Japan Championships?
 
 
 
Going in I was really nervous, but once I got there it was all just
fun. I am really happy with the results and I can't wait till next year!

How do you feel before heading to the World Championships?
 
 
 
Again very nervous but at the same time excited. I'm just glad I'm
lucky enough to be going.
 
 
 
 
 
5.
 
Besides sport stacking, do you play other sports?
 
 
 
Well, I'm really into Skateboarding right now. I also play some
Basketball, Hockey, and Tennis.

What are your hobbies?
 
 
 
As I said I like Skateboarding but I also love music. I play the
Guitar and the Flute.
 
 
 
 
 
7.
 
Favorite food?
 
 
 
My favorite food is probably the "Double Cheeseburger" at McDonalds.
 
 
 
 
 
8.
 
Is there anything else we should know about you?
 
 
 
Occasionally I make some movies and I like hanging out with my
friends.
